James, the Apostle, warned against judging by outward appearance: “My
brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with
respect of persons” (James 2:1). He rebuked those who gave honor to the rich
while despising the poor, declaring that such judgment is sin.
Likewise, to despise those with disability is to fail the divine test, for
God Himself hides His glory in what the world calls weakness. Paul revealed the
paradox: “God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things
which are mighty” (1 Corinthians 1:27).
The DISABILITY COMPASSION OUTREACH of CCF insists:
inclusivity is justice, accessibility is dignity, and empowerment is love in
action. We call on donor partners and well-meaning Ghanaians
to help dismantle stigma and build systems that honor the divine strength
hidden in disability.
