Culture must shed the illusion that disability is shame. The soul’s journey
spans countless lifetimes, and each incarnation is but a chapter. To judge a
soul by one chapter is ignorance.
Culture must evolve to celebrate diversity as divine design. As Isaiah
prophesied: “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief
cornerstone” (Psalm 118:22, echoed in Matthew 21:42). Those whom society
rejects are often the very ones chosen to anchor transformation.
The DISABILITY COMPASSION OUTREACH of CCF insists: cultural
transformation must dismantle stigma, celebrate disability as strength, and
empower PWDs through education, arts, and community leadership. We invite donor
partners and well-meaning Ghanaians to join us in reshaping culture
into a mirror of compassion.
